Payam Feyli ( Pers. پیام فیلی ; born 1985 , Kermanshah ) is an Iranian poet and writer, author of nine books [1] , openly gay .

Biography
Persecution
Payam Faile was arrested three times in Iran, and once was in custody without charge for 44 days. He does not hide his orientation. For homosexuality he is facing the death penalty. These events forced Faile to leave the country and seek refuge in other states.
Emigration
Initially, the poet moved to Turkey , but at the end of 2015 he went to Israel , where he asked for political asylum, claiming that he fell in love with this country [1] . His request is being considered and the Israeli authorities are inclined to satisfy the request because of the stalemate in which Payam found himself. In an interview with Kanal10, he said that ordinary Iranians will not hate the Israelis, and his visit may contribute to understanding between peoples [2] .
Creativity
He began writing poetry in his teens, published his first book at nineteen [3] . It was called The Sun's Platform and was subjected to merciless censorship. The first novel, Tower and Pond and a collection of short stories appeared in 2006, being published in electronic form. In total, Payam Faile has written nine books. In his novel “I will grow up, I will collect dates” in the Tel Aviv theater a play was staged and played. This story was his first work published abroad (German publishing house). She talks about the forbidden love of two friends against the background of the Iran-Iraq war . The book was translated into Hebrew [2] .
