The Snow Queen ( Finnish. Lumikuningatar , Swede. Snödrottningen ) is a ballet in the choreography of Kenneth Greve to the music of the Finnish composer Tuomas Kantelinen based on the fairy tale “ Snow Queen ” by Hans Christian Andersen .

The ballet premiered on November 23, 2012 on the stage of the Finnish National Opera in honor of the 90th anniversary of the Finnish National Ballet [1] .
