Rendsburg station is located in the city of Rendsburg in Schleswig-Holstein ( Germany ) and at the junction of the Neumuenster-Flensburg and Kiel-Rendsburg lines. It is currently managed by Deutsche Bahn , which classifies it as a category 4 station. The Kiel Canal was built at the beginning of the 20th century, and the Rendsburg High Bridge on the Rendsburg Loop was built over it, which allowed trains to continue to use the Rendsburg Station. From 2007 to 2009, the roof of the station was repaired. The platforms were later restored. After completing repairs at the station, it has five tracks, four of which have platforms.
