The compositions “After” and “On the Edge” were written by Utah specially for Oleg Osipov ’s films “After Life” [1] [2] and “If Yes, If Only” [3], respectively. The song “Name” is the soundtrack to the series “Ensign” [4] , and the track “About him” is to the series “Provincial” [1] . The disc also features a new song by the singer “The Soldier Who Hasn't Returned,” which was released on April 30, 2015 as a separate single [5] .

According to critic Alexei Mazhaev, the disc is a symbiosis of lyrical ballads and soundtracks for a variety of series, more reminiscent of the style of Soviet pop [6] . The critic praised the lyrical component of the album, namely the compositions “On the Edge”, “About him”, “My Boy”, “By the way” and “A little insecure” [7] [8] .
