Biography

As a monk, he graduated from Prizrensky Theological Seminary , and then for a long time was a resident of the Mileshev Monastery [1] .

After graduating from the Theological Faculty of the University of Athens, he was a professor at the seminary and gymnasium, where he served until his election as Bishop of Pech [1] .

In 1926, his episcopate consecrated. He lived in the city of Pecs. The Pechersky Monastery again became the Patriarchal Stavropegy [2] .

In 1931, he retired, and his diocese was abolished. He lived in the patriarchal courtyard in Sremski Karlovtsy [1] .

World War II to visit him in Slovenia. After bullying and torture by Ustasha in Croatia, he returned to Belgrade. For some time he lived in the Belgrade Patriarchate, and then settled in the Monastery of Ravanitsa near Chupria [1] .

He died on October 20, 1946 in the Monastery of Ravanitsa and was buried in the narthex of the monastery church [1] .

When the floor was repaired in a monastery during the time of communism, its grave was opened, then according to the recollections of eyewitnesses, its remains were found incorrupt, but were again buried [3] [4] .
