History
On September 27, 2010, the band released their first mini-album entitled Lord of Woe EP . [2]
In 2011, keyboardist Louise Barton joined the group, also taking on the role of backing vocalist. Thus, Make Them Suffer is one of the few deathcore groups practicing the rare use of female clean vocals.
In February 2012, the band signed a contract with Roadrunner Records and in May released a debut album called Neverbloom . [3]
The band releases the single "Let Me In" on May 12, 2014.
On May 29, 2015, Make Them Suffer released their second studio album called “Old Souls”.
In 2015–2016, the band went on tour in the USA and Canada in support of the new album.
In June 2016, the band released the single "Ether". The song will be included on the album “Old Souls & Lord of Woe”, which is a re-release of the album Old Souls , which will also include a new track and songs from the Lord of Woe EP . On June 16, 2016 a video was released.
In 2017, the group leaves Louise Barton. It is replaced by Buka Niall. In July of the 28th, the new Worlds Apart album is released.
Musical style
Since its founding, Make Them Suffer has been conquering listeners with its defiant mix of contemporary death metal , black metal , deathcore and metalcore , connected by symphonic textures and keyboards. The musicians were influenced by bands such as Winds of Plague , Behemoth , Bleeding Through , Darkest Hour , Architects
