Biography
Born December 31, 1902 in the family of mechanical engineer Nikolai Pavlovich Aksenov .
In 1925 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics of the MVTU. He worked at the Dneprostroy Moscow Design Office, at the Orgmetall Institute, at the Dynamo plant, at TsNIITmash. In 1931, to mobilize the Supreme Economic Council, he was transferred to the newly organized Soyuzformolity trust.
In 1932-1935 and 1936-1942. Associate Professor MMMI them. N.E. Bauman. In 1935-1936 on a business trip to the Uralvagonzavod.
Since 1942, assistant professor, in 1943-1975 the head. Department of "Machinery and technology of foundry" MAMI.
Candidate (1938), doctor (1944) of technical sciences, professor.
The author (together with his father) of a two-volume textbook "Foundry Equipment", which has passed 5 editions.
He died on December 16, 1975 in Moscow after a serious and prolonged illness. He was buried at Vvedensky cemetery .
Rewards
- 1952 Stalin Prize. Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR .
- In 1961 he was awarded the Order of Lenin and the honorary badge “High School Excellence”.
