Biography
Born in May 1880 and spent his childhood in a country estate of the Aksyonov family on the border of Moscow and Vladimir lips. The Aksyonovs had a historian Kliuchevsky, an artist Levitan, a close friend of the Savva Morozov family.
From 1890 to 1897 he studied at the Murom Real School , and later from 1897 to 1902 - at the Imperial Higher Technical School , having received the qualification of mechanical engineer. After his graduation, he worked at many factories and manufactories in Russia and Switzerland as a mechanic, director, manager.
Since 1920, at the scientific and teaching work at the Moscow Technical University, since 1930 - professor.
In 1924-30, Technical Director of the Department "Foundry" of Orgmetal, in 1930-33. - Head Department at the All-Union Industrial Academy, in 1938-1948. - Head of the Department of Foundry Processes at the Moscow Institute of Steel.
In 1930 he received the title of professor, and in 1938 - the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences.
He participated in the design of metallurgical plants built in the 1930s. Creator of the theory of mechanization of foundry processes.
The author (together with his son P.N. Aksyonov ) of the two-volume textbook "Equipment for foundries", which has passed 5 editions.
He was buried at Vvedensky cemetery .
