History
In 1982, Penske jointly with Hertz Corporation established a joint venture for the rental of trucks. By 1988, there were 42 thousand trucks and a network of 2167 service points [1] .
In 1988, Penske Corporation and General Electric Capital Corporation announced the merger of their car rental and leasing divisions. GE Capital brought into the enterprise 14 thousand trucks and 139 stations of its Gelco Truck Leasing division, acquired in October 1987 from Gelco Corporation [1] .
In March 1995, Penske Truck Leasing acquired the transport and logistics company Leaseway Transportation Corp. [2]
In 2001, Penske Truck Leasing expanded its network again through the acquisition of Rollins Truck Leasing Corporation. The company was based in the city of Wilmington , Delaware and had 270 rental points and a fleet of 53 thousand cars [3] . At this point, Penske Truck Leasing had at its disposal a fleet of 152 thousand cars [3] .

Penske Truck Rental with over 2 thousand truck rental points in the United States and Canada leases commercial truck tractors , vans and semi-trailers. The fleet at its disposal is more than 50 thousand. Among the vans available for rent there are also ones intended for moving , with a body length from 3.5 to 8 meters.
Penske Logistics is a subsidiary of Penske Truck Leasing. She works in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Penske provides management of the entire supply chain, including transportation, transshipment and storage of goods.
Penske Used Trucks is a division of Penske Truck Leasing. The company sells trucks, tractor units, trailers.
