The song received positive reviews from music critics and online publications: Music Times [3] , Spin [4] , Entertainment Weekly [5] , Consequence of Sound [6] , Noisey [7] , The Fader [8] . “Only” debuted at position No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the US chart, later reaching No. 12. On December 14, 2014, the song reached number one on the Hot R & B / Hip-Hop Songs , becoming Nika Minaj her 4th charttopper and making her only woman with such an indicator in the hip-hop chart (in second place with 3 hits No. 1 singer Missy Elliot). For Drake, this song became the 12th hit at No. 1, for Lil Wayne its 9th charttopper, and 5th for Chris Brown. On August 17, 2015, the single “Only” received 3-kr platinum certification [9] . By March 2015, 949,500 copies were sold in the United States [10] .
