Description
The village is located 2 km from the Kazanka River, 7 km southwest of Arsk . Near the village there is a stopping point Chulpanovo on the electrified railway line Kurkachi - Arsk .
There is an elementary school, a club. Industries: field cultivation, sheep breeding.
History
It was founded in the first half of the 18th century . Before the reform of 1861, residents belonged to the category of landlord peasants . They were engaged in agriculture, cattle breeding, beekeeping, blacksmithing, carpentry, tailoring and plastering and painting. At the beginning of the 20th century , the Nikolskaya Church (built in 1858 ), the Zemstvo school (opened in 1874 ), a water mill, a forge, and a grocery store functioned in Chulpanovo. During this period, the land allotment of the rural community was 688 acres. Until 1920, the village was part of the Arsky volost of the Kazan district of the Kazan province .
