Biography
Heinrich Goyer was born in 1834 in the Polish city of Poznan . He studied at Breslav and Berlin universities, where he received a doctorate in medicine [2] .
He was an assistant at the Department of Physiology of the University of Wroclaw . In 1859, Goyer received an associate position in the Department of Physiology and Histology at the former Warsaw Medical and Surgical Academy; then he was successively a professor at the former Main School of Warsaw and the University of Warsaw [2] .
The works of G.F. Goyer, mainly on histology, are placed partly in German, partly in Polish scientific journals. A complete list of his works is published in the Materials for the History of Zoology in Russia by A. Bogdanov (Volume III, Moscow, 1891) [2] .
Heinrich Ferdinandovich Goyer died in 1907.
