Biography
John Fulton was born on December 1, 1899 in St. Paulo. Educated at Minnesota and Harvard Universities. In 1921, John Farquhar was invited to the laboratory of C.S. Sherrington in Oxford and worked until 1929. From 1929 to 1931 he headed the Department of Physiology at Yale University . From 1931 to 1950 he worked as a professor at Sterling, from 1950 until the end of his life he worked as a curator of the Osler Library at McGill University in Canada.
John Fulton died on May 29, 1960 in Montreal.
Scientific work
The main scientific works are devoted to the study of the mechanisms of muscle contraction and CNS functions.
