Tashkent-North ( Uzbek. Toshkent-Janubiy ) is a railway station of the Uzbekistan Railway located in the capital of Uzbekistan , Tashkent . The largest railway station in the country.

Content

History

Tashkent North Station was built at the end of the 19th century . A new railway line connected Tashkent with Krasnovodsk [2] .

In 1906, a railway was opened between Tashkent and Orenburg and became the first line between the European part of Russia and central Asia.

In 1957, a new station building was opened. In 1984, a metro station opened near the station .
