In 2009,Marina Diamandis has signed a contract with Neon Gold Records and released the debut mini-album The Crown Jewels EP . After, the singer signed a contract with 679 Artists and Atlantic Records , releasing their debut studio album The Family Jewels on February 15, 2010. The disc debuted at number five on the UK Albums Chart and received gold certifications in countries such as the United Kingdom and Ireland. The album was released in support of the album “Mowgli's Road”, “Hollywood”, “I Am Not a Robot”, “Oh No!” And “Shampain”.

The second studio album Electra Heart was released on April 27, 2012, debuting from the first position in the charts of countries such as the United Kingdom and Ireland , also received gold certifications in these countries. The albums were released in support of the singles “Primadonna”, “Power & Control” and “How to Be a Heartbreaker”. The single “Primadonna” in Diamandis’s entire career is the most popular; He debuted at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart and was certified gold in the United Kingdom.

The release of the third studio album Froot took place on March 13, 2015. The CD debuted at number 10 on the UK Albums Chart . The album also took the eighth position in the American Billboard 200 chart , thus becoming the first album in the Diamandis discography to hit the top 10 of the chart. In support of the album were released such singles as " Froot ", " Happy ", " I'm a Ruin ", "Forget" and "Blue".
