Story
Hank Moody ( David Duchovny ) is a man who, at forty, is struggling with a midlife crisis . He is still in love with his ex-girlfriend, Karen, who will soon marry her fiancé, Bill Lewis. Karen and Hank share custody of their 12-year-old daughter Becca. The episode begins with Hank having oral sex with a nun in the church, but it soon became clear that it was a dream that embodied Hank's lifestyle; he was getting a blowjob during casual sex. After writing a book entitled “God Hates All of Us” and receiving awards and critical acclaim, Hank begins to fight the creative crisis , trying to write a new book. He is angry because he made a movie in his book titled “This Crazy Thing Called Love” starring Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Hank has sex with a girl he met in a bookstore; during sex, she hits him several times, leaving him with a black eye. She turns out to be Mia Lewis, the 16-year-old daughter of Bill Lewis. Hank and Karen have to team up to pick up their daughter Becca from a wild party.
