Fictional biography from the animated series (1987)
Oroku Saki was the younger brother of the master of martial arts Oroku Nagi, a rival of Hamato Yosi . Nagi made an attempt to assassinate Yosi, but as a result of him he died himself, and as a result, Hamato became the blood enemy of clan Oroku. Saki swore revenge on Yosi. In his youth, he studied the art of ninja , and soon became one of the best assassins of the Foot Clan. Having received the nickname "Shredder" and highly advanced in the hierarchy of the clan, he moved to the United States to take revenge on Yosi.
Comics and animated series dramatically diverge in describing revenge. In the comic, Shredder killed Yossi and his wife, and the killed hand rat, Splinter, later mutated by chance (the first version was followed by the same version). In the cartoon series, Yosi is the Splinter . Substituting it - making it so that Hamato Yosi could not bow to the teacher - Shredder condemned his enemy to exile. Later, under the influence of Shredder's mutagen, spilled in the sewers, Yossi turned into a giant rat.
According to the first animated series, Shredder became an ally of the alien Krang from Dimension X. Shredder designed the powerful moving stronghold, Technodrome, which was later stuck between measurements.
Together with his friend Enemy Crang and his mutant helpers, Bebop and Roxtedy, Shredder is also making plans to destroy the Turtles, which invariably fail.
Family
Oroku Saki is a Japanese, a descendant of an ancient aristocratic family, one of whose ancestors was probably a shogun (in one of the series, when heroes move in time, Shredder meets his ancestor, who turns out to be a rather cowardly person).
According to the comic, Shredder is single, but has a foster daughter Karay. He also had an older brother Oroku Nagi, now killed. According to the animated series, he has a mother and a younger brother from relatives. Mother, who appears in one of the series, has a heavy character.
Shredder's younger brother is a lieutenant of the Japanese police, a zealous campaigner. Shredder despises him and, like a villain, is even capable of putting his life in mortal danger.

Shredder's biography from the animated series (2003)
Shredder in the new animated series is not a man, but a criminal of the morning race.
In the new cartoon three Shredder:
- Morning shredder
- Tengu shredder
- Cyber Shredder
Morning Shredder
Shredder's real name is not Orok Saki, but Ch'Rell. Ch'Rell is a cruel and merciless sociopath who went with the war from planet to planet, destroying and ruining everything in his path. Afterwards, Utroms caught him and took him into custody, but he managed to escape and make the spacecraft crash into Earth. Once in the 11th century Japan, the Morning used its technology and what was left of their ship to create exoskeletons resembling a human skeleton to merge with the local population, but Ch'Rell stole one of them and created his version of Shredder on the legends about Tengu-Shredder he heard (the powerful demon who seized power over the world). To make it easier to carry out his intentions of conquest and revenge, Ch'Rell formed the clan of Foot and created the sword Tengu (Goblin Blade) - capable of emitting destructive waves, later lost. Once, in our time, before leaving Japan, Shredder met an orphaned girl named Karai, adopted her and taught her, and later put the head of the Japanese faction of the clan Foote. After moving to the United States, he settled in New York under the guise of Oroka Saki, a billionaire and philanthropist, while he secretly formed a criminal organization and hired Dr. Baxter Stockman, the thug Hunter Mason, and the gang of Purple Dragons, to they helped him in criminal activities. One of the few who dared to speak openly against him was Hamato Yoshi, the original owner of the Splinter, and Shredder eventually killed him. Many years had passed, and everything was fine, until one day several Purple Dragons, who wanted to steal a large sum of money, stood in the path of the Turtles. At the same time, the Turtles managed to thwart Stockman's plan to use mousebots to rob banks throughout New York. But what really angered Shredder was that when he finally found the sword of the Tengu (and also one of the Morning's exo-costumes, which proved that they were still alive), he was caught by the Turtles. He sent Stockman and Khan to deal with them. Khan caught Raphael, but let him go, because they were sent by the invisible ninja Foot Stockman, so that Raf would lead them to the shelter, not knowing it. However, in the end, the ninja suffered a defeat. From the interrogation of Khan Rafael, Shredder learned that the Turtles were not aware of the existence of the Morning, and he decided that they could be useful, but when the Turtles learned from Splinter the whole truth about Shredder and turned against him, they became his No. 1 enemies.
Ch'Rell - the main antagonist during the first three seasons of TMNT, is portrayed as the most brutal and ruthless villain of the animated series. In the new series, Ch'Rell is very similar to Kreng, but here he has a blood-red body tone, 6 small legs and a purple scar through his left eye. At the end of the third season, he was caught, convicted of crimes and sent to the eternal exile on the ice asteroid Morgal-Tal.
In an alternate future, where the turtles failed to defeat Shredder, he is the ruler of the whole world. Donatello kills him to avenge his brothers.
In the full-length film “Turtles forever,” Tekhnodrom (from the animated series of 1987) telephoned the Turtles, Shredder and Crang in the measurement of the animated series of 2003, where Shredder was inspired by the power of his counterpart from this universe, decided to take him in allies. Finding the location of Ch'Rell on an icy asteroid, using a teleportator, Shredder transferred the morning to the Technodrome. He assessed the situation without hesitation and captured Technodrom, captured Shredder with Krong, and set about a plan to destroy the Turtles in all the universes. He was transported to the universe of original Turtle comics, and he would have been able to wipe them off, but the combined Turtles (1987, 2003 and original comics) found that Technodrom's ray could penetrate Chelrell's molecularly enhanced costume stolen by Kreng’s technology. During attempts to destroy him, Bebop and Rockstadi (from the animated series of 1987) stumbled over the power supply wire of the beam, and Ch'Rell almost triumphed was not defeated, but they turned on the power supply wire and Ch'Rell was split.
Tengu Shredder
The demon Tengu wanted to capture Japan, but the Emperor of Japan hired five warriors: Kona Shisho, Juto Shisho, Chikaru Shisho, Hisomi Shisho and Oroku Saki. The tengu quickly coped with four warriors, but Saki would have been able to win if the tengu had not offered to merge with him. And Oroka Saki agreed. However, he managed to win in his own castle (some time after the "victory" over the demon).
Undoubtedly, this Shredder is stronger than all the others. He was the main enemy of the turtles, for the fifth season. A few hundred years later, he again began to walk the earth and bear death and destruction, as his servants (the Ninja Mystic) resurrected him, not wanting to obey Karai, who had declared himself the new Shredder. He struck his first blow against Clan Foot, who Karai and led Orok Saki after his death. Tengu-Shredder decided to teach the impostor, as a result, many soldiers of the Foot clan were killed, including the Elite Guard of the Foot clan (after season 5, they no longer appeared). Only after the turtles united with all their enemies (Karai, Dr. Chaplin, Agent Bishop with his servicemen, Stockman, Khan and the Purple Dragons, also Fighters for Justice, in whose ranks Nano is also), could they get close to him close to join him in the battle. He amassed a huge mass of dark energy and turned into a stunning dragon when the pillars stopped the plans. The turtles, in turn, used the power of the medallions and also turned into dragons. Immediately, they staged an epochal battle over the roofs of New York, in which the turtles won an unconditional victory (Karai also helped - she sucked his energy from the Tengu-Shredder’s body through a mystical connection that connects all those who wear the mantle of Shredder and which she inherited) . First, Michelangelo crushed his glove with claws with his teeth, then Leonardo crushed his helmet with his foot. He was finally destroyed by the spirit of Hamato Yosi , caused by the medallions of turtles.
Cyber Shredder
A virtual copy of the Shredder Matter, developed by him in case he loses. Virel was revived from the body and inherited its digital features, such as the subordination of computer programs, data infection (for example, infection of one of the data bits of the Splinter wizard with a linear virus that transformed into a substance, became a beacon that allowed Cyber-Shredder to lead directly to his enemies ) and many other features. Cyber-Shredder was the main enemy of the turtles during the seventh season. The second most powerful of the Shredders, but also a strong opponent of turtles and anyone who dares to challenge him. Clan Foot and Khan work for him. Cyber-Shredder fought with Khan for the territory and prevailed. One day, he took control of Baxter Stockman's exosuit. Cyber-Shredder died in the final series of the animated series "Wedding Bells and Bytes", from a shot of a decompiler.
Shredder from the animated series (2012-17)
Oroku Saki was a ninjutsu master and a friend of Hamato Yoshi, they both fell in love with one woman who chose Yoshi, they had a daughter. Saki did not accept this, made a fire in their house, stunned Yoshi, killed his wife and kidnapped his daughter, giving her the name Karai and raised her as his own. Upon learning that Khamato Yoshi is alive, he moves to New York and hires Purple Dragons and the psycho scientist Baxter Stockman there. He wants to take refuge turtles and destroy them. After the invasion Krengov in the third season becomes the leader of the underworld of New York. He was severely crippled in a fight with Splinter in episode 14 of season 4 In season 20, season 4 turned into a super mutant Shredder, and at the end of the series fell into a hole with Splinter. In 21 episodes, 4 seasons was defeated In 25 episodes, 4 seasons kills Splinter. In 26 episodes of season 4, Leonardo was killed. In season 4 episode 5, Kawaxas resurrects Shredder, but at the end of the episode, the Shredder goes to hell again.
Appearance
A shredder is a thin, but tall, muscular and fit man with a shiny, chrome plate on his armor, wearing a red outfit over it with a dark blue cloak hanging behind him. His signature on the helmet, Kuro Kabuto, is perhaps the most visible aspect of his appearance and the face masks, which are partially burned and disfigured, to such an extent that he sees very badly with his right eye. Unlike the previous incarnations of Shredder, who carried tekko-kagi in his hands, this version uses individual, partially mechanical, built-in mittens. His armor is also larger and more massive than in previous versions, with the exception, perhaps, of Ch'Rell, although armor is streamlined and smooth at the same time. The spikes on it are larger, longer and larger than most previous versions (although once again bearing some resemblance to Ch`Rell). As noted earlier, this Shredder “suffers” from a burn on the right side of his face; a much bigger injury than a scratch (from a Splinter), which makes it clear that his right eye is completely blind.
Movies
Shredder in the classic movie trilogy
In the 1990 film “The Ninja Turtles ” of 1990, Shredder was played by James Saito. Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi (Oroku Nagi not mentioned) lived in Japan were in love with one woman named Ten Shen, but only Yoshi achieved reciprocity. Yoshi and Shen move to the USA, and Saki follows them to New York, where he kills both. Splinter, Yoshi's rat, escaped during the battle, left scars on Orok's face.
The cruel and unprincipled leader Saki called himself Shredder, began to recruit children from the streets and teach them the art of battle with Tatsu. One day, Schröderder ordered the destruction of April O'Neil, who learned of his criminal activities, but the plan fails because of the intervention of the turtles. However, Shredder finds out the location of the turtles' lair and kidnaps Splinter.
In the end, Shredder came together in a battle with the turtles, and defeated all four. However, Master Splinter, freed by Danny and Casey Jones, intervenes and says that he knew exactly who Shredder was and that his master was Hamato Yoshi. Shredder removes the mask and shows the scars, which confirm that he really Oroku Saki. Shredder tries to kill the rat, but eventually ends up on the edge of the building and falls into a parked garbage truck far below. Casey Jones then activates the garbage truck press, allegedly destroying Shredder.
In the sequel of Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Canister, the role of Shredder was played by Francois Chaux . It turns out that he survived, but his face is greatly disfigured. He returns to his people and focuses on revenge on the turtles. He kidnaps Professor Jordan Perry and forces him to use the latest canister of mutagens to create the Rezar mutant and a hybrid of a tortoise and Tokku bird. Later, with cunning, he lures all the turtles to himself and tries to incite his beasts on them, but those, because of their low intelligence, miss the turtles. Towards the end of the movie, the turtles themselves come to Shredder and deftly eliminate the thugs mutants, turning them back into normal animals. Then Shredder tries to blackmail the heroes by threatening to mutate an innocent woman with a mutagen, but a friend of Keno turtles saves her, and Shredder himself is pushed through a wall with a powerful acoustic blow. However, Shredder does not stop and takes a small mutagen ampule himself, becoming a Super Shredder (in this form Kevin Nash played it, for which this role became the debut). He tries to kill the turtles by breaking wooden docks, but eventually he dies himself, and now finally.
Shredder in a new dilogy
In the 2014 “ Ninja Turtles ” re-launch, Shredder is once again the main antagonist. His role was played by the Japanese-Canadian actor Tokhor Masamune . He is still the leader of Clan Foote and a ninjutsu master, but he is never called the name Oroku Saki. Shredder's face is always hidden in the shadows, but it is clearly visible that it is disfigured by scars (perhaps the analogue of Shredder 2012, since only this Shredder had burns and scars). The background of Shredder is not told.
In the film, Shredder and his ward, American scientist Eric Sachs ( William Fichtner ), who was originally declared the creators as Shredder's alter ego in the film, created a mutagen for profit: they were going to spray a toxin in New York, the only remedy for which was mutagen. Thus, they would not only get rich, but also gain control of the city. However, Dr. O'Neill (father April), who helped Sax in creating a mutagen, destroyed the laboratory and the serum residues, for which Sachs was shot. The only mutagenic specimens remained Splinter and Turtles (which Sach considered dead before the events of the film).
At the beginning of the film, Clan Foot continues to commit crimes, and Sachs secretly helps them, while publicly promising to help the city get rid of them. April, not knowing the truth about his father’s death, reveals to Saksa the truth about the Turtles, and he tells her how they came about. April leaves, and he orders the Foot clan to hunt down her cell phone, knowing that she will go to the Turtle shelter. Shredder personally leads this attack, wearing a special armor-exoskeleton, developed by Sachs. He seriously injures Splinter and kidnaps Donatello, Michelangelo and Leonardo. In the laboratory of his mansion, Sachs pumps blood from the Turtles, reveals his plans and extracts the mutagen container from the collected blood. However, April, Vernon Fenwick and Raphael appear and rescue the brothers.
Sachs and Shredder fly to New York, where they are preparing to disperse the toxin, but Sax is prevented by April and Vernon, and the Turtles fight with Shredder, who thanks to his armor easily overcomes them. But then the Turtles manage to distract Shredder for a while, and Donatello turns off the sprayer at the last second. Shredder decides to take revenge, taking the container with mutagen from April in time, but the spray tower falls on them, and after several weapon strikes, Shredder falls from a great height to the ground and breaks, after which it is clear that he survived and a container with a toxin spilled on him.
Shredder's costume in the film is an exoskeleton like samurai armor, with retractable blades like scissors on each hand, with which he can shoot at enemies and who, if he wishes, return to his hands, it was noticed that he had a clan of Foot as in Shredder 2003 (it is possible that this costume is the same costume as Shredder's 2003, except for one ability). The clan foot in the film is presented not by a ninja-criminal clan, but by an American terrorist organization.
Shredder is again the main villain in the sequel , where his role was played by Brian T. Now Shredder has a normal face, which means that the spilled mutagen led to the regeneration of facial tissues. He escapes from custody with the help of Dr. Baxter Stockman when he is transported in a prison wagon, and creates with him Bebop and Roxtedy to destroy turtles. At the end of the film, he became Krang’s partner, helping him to come to our world and seize the Earth with the help of Technodrome when he promised power, but in the end he was deceived and frozen.
