In 2004, the series changed its name to “ Justice League Unlimited ” ( eng. Justice League Unlimited ), the screensaver changed, the team of heroes was significantly expanded. The storytelling format was also changed: one plot per episode. The animated series premiered on Cartoon Network on July 31, 2004. The three seasons ended the show on May 13, 2006. A total of 39 episodes were released.

In the US, there is the comic Justice League Adventures , created on the basis of the animated series - not the usual comic style of the picture was used, but the one that was in the animated series.

The plot of the animated series gradually gathers all the famous superheroes of the DC Comics universe into a single paramilitary organization, and in the 3rd season of Justice League Unlimited all the supervillains come to a similar rallying. This is a story about superheroes, originally united by the fight against an alien invasion and left after him by the team for the organized defense of the Earth. At the origins of the organization are Superman , Batman , Green Lantern (John Stewart), Flash (Wally West), Wonder Woman (Diana), Martian Hunter (J'onn J'onzz) and Tanagarian Orlitz (Shaer Hall). Their headquarters was the Watchtower in Earth orbit, built with Batman's money, killed in a victory over the Tanagarians, later restored, and later transferred to Earth. Most of the team telepathically called J'onn J'onzz, in the face of the threat from the White Invaders.

Superman

Superman is one of the last surviving members of the Krypton race. Krypton was destroyed as a result of a cosmic catastrophe (it later turned out that Brainiac was the true cause of the planet’s death). Shortly before the cataclysm of Jor-El, an eminent Krypton scientist, failed in an attempt to convey to the planet’s planet the plight of things. Immediately before the death of Krypton, Jor-El and his wife sent their son Kal-El (Superman) in a miniature starship to Earth. Upon arrival, Cal-El was found by a childless couple of farmers named Kent, who adopted and raised him, keeping the boy's origin in secret. The future Superman was given the earthly name Clark Kent. As he grew older, the child manifested superhuman abilities - invulnerability, superpower, super speed, super endurance, ability to fly, super vision, super hearing. All these possibilities are given to Superman by the light of the earthly Sun, which makes his material structure much more dense than the light of the native Krypton sun; besides, gravity on Earth is much lower than on Krypton, so evolution has made Kryptons much stronger than representatives of most worlds. Clark lives in Metropolis . Previously, Superman believed that he could alone protect the world from dangers, but finding out that this was not the case, he admitted a mistake and offered J'onn, Batman, Flash, Fonar, Orlice and Diana to unite in the Justice League, which he headed.

Batman

The greatest detective in the world, is an important member of the organization, one of the founders, despite the fact that he refused to officially join the Justice League. Batman, he's Bruce Wayne. He suffered the strongest psychological shock in childhood caused by the loss of parents. As a result of that injury, he chose the path of a crime fighter who inspires an irresistible horror to violators of the law. Being born in a family of people, Bruce Wayne himself deprived of any superhuman strength. Preparing for war with the criminals of Gotham , the future superhero achieved perfection in mental and physical training, reaching the limits of human capabilities. He is a master of hundreds of martial arts and spiritual practices, and his intellect reaches the mark of "genius." As a billionaire Bruce Wayne, Batman sponsors the Justice League and also supplies high-tech equipment to it. The lack of superpowers is compensated by technical devices, high intelligence, combat skills and personal courage. Batman became a hero who was feared by all the villains without exception, even though he was just a man.

Wonder Woman (aka Diana)

Wonder woman, former princess of the Amazons . Born and raised on the semi-mythical island of the Amazons Temiskira. Her mother, Hippolyta, the queen of the Amazons, as legend has it, fashioned a baby figure out of the wet sand on the seashore, and then asked the gods to give her daughter. When the surging wave departed back into the sea, instead of a sand figure on the shore there appeared a living baby. Diana escaped from Temiskira, contrary to her mother’s ban, taking away sacred armor and an artifact known as the lasso of Truth. Later, she joined the League (then just a team of superheroes). Diana is endowed with great physical strength, is able to beat bullets with frills and can fly. Calling on the gods in times of need, she strengthens her fighting spirit. Diana of course also protects the city from the villains, but she sometimes has a complex character, and is tough, especially if someone suspected of deception. Nevertheless, Diana is very sweet in her soul and always ready to help others.

J'onn J'onz

In the distant past, J'onn served as a Manhunter (policeman) and led a happy life on the fourth planet from the Sun of Ma'alek'andr, better known to people as Mars . Had a loving family, wife Mi'ri'an and two children. According to the series, Mars was devastated by war against a hostile parasitic civilization in which only J'onn survived. For centuries, he was the last guardian of the tomb in which the aggressors were imprisoned, but the earth astronaut accidentally released them, and the parasites rushed to Earth. Following them to warn people, J'onn was captured by the authorities and imprisoned in a special cell. Released by Superman, J'onn helped earthlings defend his world and joined the Justice League. The Martian hunter has many forces, among which are: telepathy , changes in appearance, intangibility, invisibility, flight, invulnerability and super powers. On Earth, J'onn took on a “heroic” look that is partially different from his natural Martian appearance. From 1 to 3 seasons, Justice League Unlimited is the coordinator of the Justice League actions and rarely participates in battles personally. In the last series experienced a moral crisis, because of which he almost left the team.

Flash

The fastest man on earth, as he always says about himself. Narcissistic, frivolous hero, performing the function of emotional unloading on the background of serious comrades. Flash says most of the jokes in the series, flirts with beautiful girls, sincerely considers himself irresistible. Initially, Flash is contrasted in nature to Green Lantern. In the future, these two antipodes constituted an effective tandem in which the cold-blooded prudence of the Green Lantern is complemented by the reckless vehemence of Flash. Wally West (Flash) is a good friend of Orlitsa.

Green Lantern

John Stewart is the man who received the Green Lantern ring and related abilities. The ring gives his chosen one tremendous opportunities to influence and change the material world. With the help of imagination and willpower, Green Lantern is able to create anything from a green energy ring, from simple energy shots to combat-ready models of technology. Stewart is in the Green Lantern Corps , patrolling sector 2814 (in which the Earth is located). In love with Orlitsu. Previously served in the United States Marine Corps . And this part of his biography is often particularly useful - if the enemy believes that, having lost the ring, John Stewart becomes useless, a surprise effect appears at the disposal of Stewart. After the events of the second season of the Justice League and the removal of Orlitsa, she begins an affair with Mari Vixen and does not change her choice even after Shaer returns.

Orlitza

Full name - Shaer Hall. Agent Tanagarian military forces. Lieutenant. Advanced Scout Under cover, she performed a mission on Earth in order to find out everything about the defense capability of the third planet of the solar system . She was engaged to the general Tanagarian forces Hro Talak. But being on Earth, I fell in love with John Stuart. For a long time, Orlitza was torn between debt and feelings, until she made the final choice. As a tanagarian, she is not subject to the Martian telepathy, or rather she has powerful mental defenses, breaking through which during the war with the Tanagarians J'onn J'onzz was all wounded. She has wings, it is a common feature of all Tanagarians. Of the weapons she uses a mace of en-metal that defies magic. Shaera is an atheist , like all residents of Tanagar, and she remained in spite of the fact that she had met more than once with gods and infernal creatures during the series.
