Biography
In 1924-1926 he studied at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Tiflis , was friendly with the poet Terenty Graneli , left memories of him [1] . In 1933 he graduated from the Tiflis Conservatory in the class of Sergei Barkhudaryan (composition) and until 1937 he improved in graduate school. In 1937-1949 he taught composition in his alma mater [2] . In 1957-1965, a teacher and head of the conducting department of the Tbilisi College of Amateur Performing Arts. In 1966-1972, the director of the Signagi College of Music. The author of the textbook for students of musical schools “Georgian Folk Songs” (Tbilisi, 1971). He wrote music for performances [2] .
