Biography
Born July 15, 1990 in Yorkshire ( England , UK ). Parents divorced when Olli was 13 years old, raised by his mother. Olli's mother was born where her son was, and his father arrived in the UK from a provincial town in the Netherlands . Vicki Thornton was one of the founders of the music festival in Coleford. Olli attended St. John's Elementary School in Cowford and Monmouth High School, continued his education at Herford College of Art [1] . Already in high school he participated in amateur performances. Often plays the piano and vocals. He is a member of the indie pop group Years & Years , formed in 2010. In addition to frontman Olli Alexander, members of the group are also bassist Mikey Goldworthy (Eng. Mikey Goldworthy ) and synthesizer Emre TΓΌrkmen (eng. Emre TΓΌrkmen). In addition, he starred in several films, played in the theater with Ben Whishaw , who also starred in some videos of Years & Years .
Personal life
Ollie is an open gay. [2] [3] For some time he met with violinist Milan Neil Amin-Smith ( born Milan Neil Amin-Smith ) from the Clean Bandit electric group (where he later left) [4] . He likes to watch anime, loves Hayao Miyazaki and Totoro . In politics, he supports Labor [5] .
