The ancestor of the ancient noble family of the Efanovs .
In 1584, the clerk began his career at the court of the Russian Tsar and Grand Duke of Moscow, Fyodor I Ivanovich . Since February 14, 1595 - clerk of the Local Order. It is constantly mentioned in the Local Order from February 14, 1595 to August 20, 1605. At the same time, the clerk of the Novgorod Rank (March 18, 1610), the clerk in Romanov (1610/1611), Yaroslavl (September-October 1611), in Vologda (October 19, 1613 - February 2, 1616) [2] . September 3, 1598 on the day of the wedding to the kingdom of Boris Godunov stood on guard at the entrance to the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin [1] . It is mentioned in 1598 among the clerks ordered by Boris Godunov in Moscow with Tsarina Irina during his campaign against Serpukhov against the khan Kazy-Girey Bora .
