Wilki (literally - “Wolves”) is a Polish rock band formed in 1990 in Warsaw .

The group was very popular in the first half of the 90s of the XX century . The song Son of the blue sky from Wilki 's first album was the first Polish song to appear on MTV . This album sold very well. In 1995, the ensemble suspended its activities.
In 2000, the group resumed creativity. The group gave many concerts, including the opening act at Reamonn . In 2002, the ensemble released the first album after eight years - 4 . The group remained very popular, the album sold well, but the character of the ensemble changed - the first single Baśka , which looked like an entire album, was recorded in the pop genre. After that, the ensemble released two more albums with commercial success.
Wilki is a multiple Fryderyk Award winner. The group has performed at many festivals, including in Yarocin ( 1992 ) and Opole.
