Katana ( Rus. Katana ) - Swedish heavy metal band, founded in 2003 in the city of Gothenburg . The theme of the lyrics of the collective touches on the theme of the East and Asian culture, the name of the group is largely due to the interest of musicians in Japan and its culture.

Content
History
The team began its activities in December 2003 . The creator of the group is guitarist Tobias Karlsson and bass player with Finnish roots Susanna Salminen . Soon they are joined by second guitarist Oscar Petersson and drummer Christian Borsson, and later by vocalist Dan Beck. In 2005 , it was with this composition that the first work was released - a demo of 4 Night Avengers songs, so named for the title song. [one]
The next year, the vocalist changed - Johan Berspan , who has been in the group to this day, has been replaced by D. Beck. [2]
With the new vocalist, the first single of the group called Heart of Tokyo (Rus. "Heart of Tokyo") was released.
January 28, 2011 was released the first full-length studio album Heads Will Roll . The German magazine Rock Hard rated the work at 7 points out of 10. [3]
November 20, 2015 released the third studio album of the band called The Greatest Victory . [four]
