Biography of Maria Nikolaevna Amamich
Maria Nikolaevna Amamich was born on December 29, 1929 in the nomadic Sokorgins family [2] .
In 1938 , Maria Sokorgina went to school to study in a preparatory class in the village of Viliga. And in 1940 she studied in the first grade of the Tavatum primary school. Maria went to study at the Garmandinsky seven-year school. Studying in high school, Maria tries herself as a poetess. After graduating from the Garmandinsky incomplete secondary school, Maria enters the Khabarovsk Pedagogical Institute in the preparatory department, where she undergoes a full course of secondary education. In 1951 , she became a student at the Khabarovsk Institute [2] and graduated in 1954 . She is awarded the title of teacher of Russian and literature with the right to teach in grades 5-7. After the Khabarovsk Pedagogical Institute, she worked in schools of the Okhotsk coast for almost twenty years: she taught in the Olsky District, in the village of Gizhiga, North Even Region, worked as a teacher in a boarding school in the village of Evensk [2] .
The original work of Maria Amamich gained fame in the 70s . Like many other Even writers, M. Amamich initially wrote lyrics and song music for amateur groups. The story “Dageladilrilbu dagilbu nabutnikan emekar iranugrar” (Do not accompany the birds flying away) was published in 1977 in the Magadan Book Publishing House [2] with a circulation of 15,000 copies and immediately became a bibliographic rarity . The book consists of separate chapters, each of which is a small episode from the life of the heroine, a little Even girl. By genre, this is a traditional autobiographical story for Even literature. Lines from Maria’s book became parting words for Kolyma residents: “... Rivers change channels, life changes content, Amamich writes, and what is left cannot be returned. And only along one road can one get into the past - along the road of memory. ”
Now, maybe, the book “Do not accompany the birds flying away” is expecting a rebirth. She was translated with the active participation of the daughter of Maria Nikolaevna - Olga - into German.
Amamich’s poems were published in Novosibirsk in 1975 in the book Severyanka [2] . As a teacher in the Gizhiginskaya school, Maria Nikolaevna began to write songs and music for them, learning them with her pupils [2] . V. Lytkin collected songs by Maria Amamich, which were included in the collection “Maria Amamich Sings” [2] , which was published in 1970 in Magadan. Even choral groups and national ensembles, performing these songs, repeatedly won diplomas and certificates of honor, became laureates of national creativity contests. For this work, Maria Nikolaevna was awarded the badge "Excellence in Culture of the USSR" of the Ministry of Culture. While working as an educator at the Even boarding school, M.N. Amamich simultaneously led the National Song and Dance Ensemble.
Maria Nikolaevna died in 1979 , having lived only 49 years.
Maria Nikolaevna Amamich Street
In the North-Evensk urban district of the Magadan region in the urban-type village of Evensk, located on the shores of the Sea of Okhotsk, for twenty-six years there is a street to them. Maria Amamich [3] .
Street History
The history of this street is very interesting and unusual. Even before October 12, 1990 , this street was called Co-operative and Torgovaya streets. But in the 1980s, Ludmila Sidorova, a journalist of the North-Evensk newspaper Mayak Severa, a deputy of the council, suggested renaming one of the streets of the village - Cooperative or Torgovaya - into Maria Amamich Street [3] .
Later, by decision of the Evensk Village Council of People’s Deputies, in honor of the 60th anniversary of the birth of the first Even poetess Maria Nikolaevna Amamich, one of the streets of Evensk named after Maria Amamich and set up a memorial plaque on the house in which Maria Nikolaevna lived for the last years. :
"one. Rename part of Kooperativnaya Street from Victory Street to the intersection of Pushkin Street and name it after the first Even poetess Maria Amamich.
2. Assign a new numbering of houses on the street to them. Maria Amamich ... "
So a street appeared in the village, which preserved the name of Maria Nikolaevna Amamich in the memory of fellow countrymen. True, the plaque has not been installed to this day.
Memory
In 2014, the anniversary of Maria Amamich was celebrated in the Magadan Region - 85 years from the day of birth.
In his speech, the chairman of the Magadan branch of the Union of Writers of Russia Vladimir Danilushkin drew the attention of those present to the need to turn to the peculiarities of writing, where Amamich, who gave sprouts of creativity to other storytellers and writers of the Northeast, can serve as an example.
In recent years, we have increasingly seen national dances and costumes of the indigenous peoples of the North, we hear folk songs. A rare celebration takes place without their participation. Residents of the Magadan region with pleasure participate in the national holidays Habdenek and Bakyldydyak. Such popularity is largely due to serious, painstaking work to develop and preserve the culture of the indigenous people of the North. Part of this culture is the work of the Even poetess Maria Nikolaevna Amamich.
On August 9, humanity celebrated World Indigenous Day. In the Magadan region, it is celebrated by representatives of 22 nationalities that have been living in our harsh land for centuries. They carefully preserve their traditions and customs.
