System Description
The system is arranged in a spherical body (total weight 73 kg) and is designed for installation in the nose of the aircraft . In the AN / AAS-53 system, a combined method of displaying information of the visible range and the IR range is implemented, which allows to improve the image clarity in fog and smoke conditions. The system includes; TV system of a near range (8-14 microns), television system with an amplifier of image brightness, dual-band laser range finder, a designator, the ability to transmit streaming video in high resolution is realized.
