Alexander Egorovich Akimov (born 1927 ) is a Soviet engineer , military man and athlete ( sports direction finding , callsign UA3AG, USSR master of sports [1] ).

Biography
Born on January 1, 1927 .
Until 1951, he served in the military counterintelligence SMERSH.
In 1960, he took part in the first international competition at the Fox Hunt in Leipzig , becoming the winner along with V. Frolov from Ashgabat . [2] In 1961, at the first European Championship on the island of Liding ( Sweden ), he became the champion. [3] A. E. Akimov also himself designed receivers for this sport, which were widely known and popular among “hunters”. [4] He was a seven-time champion of Moscow in this sport. After the cessation of sports, he was a trainer for the Fox Hunters team in Moscow. [5] He was elected a member of the Central Committee of DOSAAF , where he met with Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin .
In 1968 he was admitted to the Economic Department of the Council of Ministers of the USSR as a senior television master. Mother in the 1930s also worked in the Kremlin as an older sister-mistress.
