According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Don Basin District , the water sector of the river is the Medveditsa from the confluence of the Tersa River to the mouth, the river sub-basin of the river is Don between the confluence of Khopra and Seversky Donets. The river basin of the river is Don (the Russian part of the basin) [2] .
