Supreme leader Snoke is a character in the VII and VIII episodes of the Star Wars movie saga, a Force-sensitive alien humanoid, supreme leader of the First Order , [1] a powerful adherent of the Dark Side of the Force and teacher Kylo Ren . [2] Not a man. [3] Almost nothing is known about Snoke's past, except that he already had disciples during the Clone Wars . Even the race and belonging of Snoke to the Order of the Siths is unknown, since before Kylo and General Hux [4] he appears only in the form of a 10-meter hologram. [3] Snoke was the supreme leader of the First Order, as well as a very prudent and wise mentor. He described his pupil Kylo Ren as “wise and strong,” while his parents, Han Solo and Leia Organa , believed that Snowk had manipulated and used it for his own selfish purposes. Snoke was very old and had great knowledge of both the past and the Force. Snoke showed great interest in Kylo Ren due to the fact that he was very sensitive to the Force, both to the bright side and to the dark.

Although Snoke possessed tremendous power from the Dark Side of the Force, he was not associated with the Order of the Sith, destroyed during the Battle of Endor , after the death of Darth Sidious and Darth Vader . However, he was well aware that Kylo Ren was the grandson of Darth Vader, the legendary lord of the Sith, and used it. Snoke destroyed the Jedi Order recreated by Luke Skywalker precisely with the hands of Kylo Ren, then still known as Ben Solo, and lured the young man to the Dark Side.
Snoke was thin with long arms. His hologram on the Starkiller made him much taller (about 10 meters), while he was not much taller than Kylo Ren or Hux (2.13 m). Snoke had a very elongated pale face with scars, as well as pale blue eyes. He had a huge scar on his forehead and a very severe burn on his left cheek, which caused his mouth to be distorted. Snoke wore an ordinary cloak similar to the one worn by the Sith Lords. Snoke spoke very slowly, uttering words in an undertone due to injuries.
Snoke was very calm, and showed neither rage nor disappointment. During the destruction of the Starkiller base, he quite calmly explained to Hux his next actions, while his student Kylo Ren was prone to outbursts of anger when faced with difficulties or setbacks.
In episode VIII, he was killed by Kylo Ren, who managed to obscure the mind of such a powerful adherent of the Force, on his own flagship while trying to force him to kill Ray. His role in the film was played by Andy Serkis . [five]

The Force Awakens (2015)
In the film, Snowk is introduced as the Supreme Leader of the First Order and teacher Kylo Ren . Snoke feels “awakening” in the Force and warns Wren that his limits will be checked when he meets his father in pursuit of the wayward BB-8 . Leia shows her estranged husband Khan that this is the influence of Snowk, who ruined their son. After Wren was defeated in a duel with Rey , Snoke orders General Hux to pick up Wren and prepare him to complete the training. [6]

Snoke appears in Alan Dean Foster 's The Awakens The Force, released November 27, 2017. [7] In the novel, Leia tells Khan in more detail how Snowk, realizing that their son will be “connected with the Force” and possess “sensibility for good or evil”, watched Ben for a long time and manipulated events to draw him to the dark side. The Last Jedi (2017)
After the events in The Force Awakens, Snoke punishes Hux for failure as a military leader, and Ren for not being able to find and strangle Rei , saying that Luke is alive. Kylo Ren leads Rei to Snowk, who tortures her to get information about Luke's whereabouts. He tells Kylo Ren and Ray that he created a bond between them to manipulate them to the end. Snoke orders Ren to kill Rei and gloats over having full control over his student. Ren, contrary to his words, uses the Force and, activating Rey's lightsaber at a distance, cuts Snowk in half. After he and Ray defeated Snowk and his Praetorian Guard , Ren proclaims himself the new Supreme Leader of the First Order.
Skills and abilities
Snoke knew a lot about the Force, both about the dark side and about the light. He taught Kylo Ren many new techniques, such as power capture, which could stop the firing of any small-caliber weapons or make a person numb. Snook could also infiltrate other people's minds, see their past, and read their thoughts. In addition, he was skilled in telekinesis and could call Lightning.
Snoke was powerful enough to create the bonds of Strength between living things, as he did in the case of Rei and Kylo Ren, despite the enormous distance between them. The ties that were struck between Wren and Rei, who possessed an exceptional perception of the Force, were further strengthened by Snoke, and led to the creation of a partial projection between them.
Snook does not have a permanent base, preferring to treat his servants from a mobile platform. [3] He persuaded Kylo Ren to abandon the Jedi path to become his teacher. [9] There are many theories regarding the true identity of Snowk, but not one of them has been officially confirmed. [10] [11]
