Baron Cutto from Kerncutto in Aberdeenshire is a hereditary title in the United Kingdom Peer System. It was created on February 24, 1936 for a businessman , banker and public servant, Sir Thomas Katto, 1st Baronet (1879-1959). On July 5, 1921, the title of baronet from Peterhead was created for him. He was Governor of the Bank of England in 1944-1949 . As of 2010, the title holder was his grandson, the 3rd Baron Catto (born 1950), who succeeded his father in 2001 .
