Biography
He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute (1948). He studied at the graduate school of NII-1 , scientific adviser G.I. Petrov , in 1953 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences.
Doctor of Technical Sciences (1962). He worked at the Research Institute-1 and the Research Institute of Mechanics of Moscow State University (volunteer).
He taught at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University , professor at the Department of Aeromechanics and Gas Dynamics, and at MGIU (1992-2004, professor)
Scientific Interests
He conducted research on high-speed aerodynamics. He proposed effective methods for calculating the flow during supersonic flow around blunt bodies. Derived the laws of similarity in hypersonic flow around thin pointed bodies that oscillate.
