Biography

Born April 15, 1932 in a family of rural teachers. During the Great Patriotic War, he remained an orphan: his father died in 1941 near Smolensk , his mother died of typhus in 1943. Left alone, he wandered around the country, lived in an orphanage. Having matured a little, he began to earn a living. He worked as a digger, handyman, loader, mine electric fitter, machine operator. After demobilization he served as a volunteer sailor in the Arctic.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, as a loader in the Oktyabugol Trust, he turned around his talent as an actor, playing in the performances of the Skopinsky National Drama Theater at the Palace of Culture: “Glory”, “Prodigal Son”, “Stingy” , “Stern friend”, etc. Talented amateur actors T. L. Teningolts, B. M. Belov, B. N. Androsov, V. I. Kustarev played with him. [one]

In 1966 he graduated from the full-time directing department of the Ryazan Regional Cultural and Educational School, in 1977 - the correspondence directing department of the Moscow State Institute of Culture . He worked as a methodologist in cultural institutions of the city of Skopin and the Skopinsky district , executive secretary of the Skopinsky district branch of the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Monuments of History and Culture , director of the Skopinsky house of educators.

Since 1967, he was engaged in the reconstruction and then headed the Skopinsky Museum of Local Lore, which opened in 1987 (the first local history museum of Skopin , created in 1919, was closed by order of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR in 1956 [2] ).

He directed the museum until 2001. [1] Died December 13, 2003.
