Biography
He graduated from the Institute of Public Education (enlightenment) in Orenburg (1925). In 1926-1938, in various public and business positions in Aktobe and Zhambyl regions. In 1944, the editor-in-chief of the publishing house, since 1950 the director of Kazgoslitizdat (now the publishing house " Zhazushi "). He began his career as a translator. Translated into Kazakh language the novel “The Unconquered” (1947) by B. Gorbatov, the work “Nov” (1959) and “Smoke” (1966) I. Turgenev, “The Eagle Steppe” (1962) M. Bubennova, “Bonfire” (1969) K. Fedina, the stories of L. Tolstoy, A. Chekhov. Akhmedov's writings include the novels Zhoryk Zhyldary (1977), Jam Boynda (1992), Eskі Dostar (1986) Alash-Alash Bolganda (1996).
