Biography
He spent his childhood in the village of Pervomaisky , studied at the music school in the accordion class.
After graduation, he entered the Novosibirsk Electrotechnical Institute , in his student years he began to write poetry, moonlight as a disc jockey at college discos. At the time of his student life, Dmitry creates the Kalinov Most group.
Dmitry begins to engage in solo work before the creation of the group. “The board broke off” and “All sorts of different songs” are albums of that period. Subsequently, solo projects appeared at different times - both during the safe existence of the "Bridge", and at a time when the group did not work. Revyakin's solo albums were supplemented by his book of poems - "The Wrath of the Owl."
The albums “The board broke off” and “All sorts of different songs” were recorded in one winter night, and the first listeners of two newly-made albums were students of the radio engineering faculty of NETI, from which, in fact, the Kalinov Bridge began. Some of these songs were popular in acoustic solo performance, some were heard during recording for the first time and were never performed publicly again. These albums were recorded in January 1988 from microphones to the Reel Electronics 004 household reel tape recorder at a speed of 19.05 cm / sec.
He believes that rock music in Russia "agonizes" [1] .
As of 2014, he lives in Moscow, continues his active creative activity as part of the Kalinov Most group, and is actively touring. Parents live in the village of Pervomaisky, Transbaikal Territory [2] .
On August 30, 2017, Dmitry Revyakin, along with guitarist Alexander Badazhkov, recorded the solo album “Snakeborer”.
