Shinichi Aoki ( Jap. 青木 紳 一 , born June 9, 1965 ) is a Japanese 9th dan professional, winner of the 1988 NEC Shunye tournament.

Biography
Shinichi Aoki is the elder brother of the holder of 6 female titles of the Japanese go Kikyu Aoki . Together with his sister, he studied go with Kikuchi Yasuro , who does not have a professional rank, but who achieved success in amateur tournaments (in 1992 he became the world champion in go among amateur players) and professional tournaments, where amateur players are allowed to participate, as well as raising some of the strongest go-professionals ( Jiro Akiyama , Atsushi Kato , Keigo Yamashita ). Shinichi Aoki received the highest rank - 9th professional dan - in 1999 [1] .
Shinichi Aoki prefers a strategy game aimed at gaining influence similar to the cosmic style of go Masaki Takemii [1] .
