Biography

After graduating from the Voronezh gymnasium, he entered the University of Voronezh (he did not graduate).

Since 1919 in the Red Army , the clerk of the staff of the 8th Army. Since 1920, in the Border Guard, served in Grozny, Vladikavkaz, Tiflis, Batumi, Sukhum.

Since 1922 member of the CPSU (b) . He served as chief of the frontier in the Caucasus.

In the 1930s he graduated from the Komvuz at the NKVD in Tbilisi, then with distinction from the Moscow Institute of Oriental Studies .

In 1940 - the head of the border troops of the Central Asian district, Major General.

During the Great Patriotic War - Deputy Head of the Border Troops of the USSR. After the end of the war - Deputy Head of the Border Troops in the Far East.

In stock since 1951. He was buried in Moscow at the Kuzminsky cemetery .

  • He was awarded the Order of Lenin , two Orders of the Red Banner , the Order of Kutuzov , 2nd degree, two Orders of the Red Star , medals, and foreign awards.

  • From his marriage with Evgenia Makarovna (1905–1988) he had five children:
