Biography

He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Helsinki and in 1992 received a master 's degree in international and comparative law .

From 1998 to 2005 he was an adviser to the parliamentary committee on international affairs and defense.

In 2005, he began working in the structure of the Ministry of the Interior of Finland, where in 2009 he was the Secretary for Political Affairs of the Minister, .

From February 2011, he served as the head of the Finnish Security Police [1] . On February 11, 2016, at a government meeting, Petteri Orpo , the Minister of the Interior, was proposed for appointment as the head of SUPO [2] .
