Prior, Herbert

Herbert Prior ( born Herbert Prior ; July 2, 1867, Oxford - October 3, 1954, Los Angeles) - British film actor.

He spent his entire film career in the United States. At first he worked at the Edison film studio , and in the fall of 1908 joined David Griffith at the film company Mutoskop and Baiograf . He was married to actress Mabel Trunelli (1879-1981), who was his partner in numerous films. With the advent of sound cinema, his career began to decline, he increasingly starred in secondary or episodic roles. He finally stopped acting in films in 1934.
