M: FANS is the sixteenth studio album of Welsh musician and composer John Cale . The album was released on January 22, 2016 at Double Six Records - a sub label of Domino Recording Company . The release includes new versions of songs from his 1982 album Music for a New Society . A separate single in November 2015 released the song “Close Watch”. In this composition, Amber Coffman from the group Dirty Projectors was noted as a guest musician [7] .
