Club career

Manotas is a graduate of Uniautonom Club. Mauro was the top scorer of the club’s youth team for several seasons in a row and in 2013 helped her become the champion of the youth championship. In 2014, Manotas was included in the application of the main team for the season. On April 13, 2014, in his match against Millionarios , he made his debut in the Mustang Cup [2] . On August 17, in a duel against La Ekidad , Manotas scored his first goal for Uniauton [3] .

In the summer of 2015, Mauro moved to the American Houston Dynamo [4] . On June 21, in his match against Portland Timbers , he made his MLS debut, replacing Alexander Lopez in the second half [5] .

International Career

In 2015, Manotas took second place in the youth team of Colombia at the South American Youth Championship in Uruguay . At the tournament, he took part in matches against the teams of Uruguay [6] , Venezuela [7] and Brazil [8] . In a duel against the Brazilians, Mauro scored a goal.
