Biography
Born on February 10, 1933 in a peasant family in the village of Shirokoye, Skadovsky District, Kherson Region.
Since 1948 - work in the collective farm "New Life" of the Kosovo district, tractor driver of the Skadovsk MTS of the Kherson region. From 1952 to 1956 he served in the Soviet army.
From 1956 to 1978 - the link of the mechanized link of the collective farm "New Life" (from 1977 - the collective farm named after Ladichuk) of the village Shirokoye, Skadovsky district, Kherson region.
In 1962 he joined the CPSU.
In 1962, the link of Alexander Romanyuk collected an average of 26 centners of wheat per hectare [1] . In 1963, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor "for his outstanding labor success in growing high corn yields and the use of agricultural equipment" [2] . In 1975 he was awarded the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR in the field of science and technology.
In 1976 he graduated from the Kherson Agricultural Institute.
Since 1979 - Chairman of the Ladichuk collective farm in the village of Shirokoye, Skadovsky district, Kherson region.
He was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of 6–9 convocations.
Awards
