Career

Foreman made his first film for the company of Jesse Lusky in 1914. With the exception of being at the front during World War I, he had a successful career as both an actor and a director. Foreman was the director of Lon Cheney ’s Shadows (1922), but his greatest achievement was realized during the film adaptation of Owen Wister’s novel Virginia (1923).
