Sir Lamorac of Wales is the hero of the Arthurian cycle , one of the knights of the Round Table . Sir Lamorak is the son of King Pelinor , brother of Sir Percival , Sir Agloval , Sir Darnard and Sir Thor .
Thomas Mallory ranks him among the greatest knights: “... and there is a rumor around the world that the glories of true chivalry were shared by three knights: Sir Lancelot of the Lake, Sir Tristram of Lyons and Sir Lamorack of Wales” [1] .
Lamorak's lover was the sister of Arthur Morgause .
Sir Lamorak was treacherously killed by Agravein , Gaheris and Mordred . “Sir Agravein, Sir Gaheris and Sir Mordred - attacked Sir Lamorak in a secret place, killed a horse under him, and then fought with him on foot for three hours in a row and longer, sitting on both the front and the back, until Sir Mordred inflicted the deadly from his back a wound, chopping it up almost in half ” [2] . The death of Lamorak caused violent conflicts between the Knights of the Round Table.
