Saint-Amarén ( French: Saint-Amarin ) - a commune in the north-east of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardenne - Lorraine ), department of the Upper Rhine , Tan district - Hebeville , canton of Serne [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was the administrative center of the eponymous abolished canton ( Tan County).

Economics
In 2010, out of 1491 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 1111 were economically active , 380 were inactive (activity indicator 74.5%, in 1999 - 71.1%).
