Kulagin, Anatoly Valentinovich

Born in 1958 in Karelia in the family of a military serviceman and teacher of mathematics (natives of Kolomna ). Since 1960, lives in Kolomna, where the family returned after the father left the reserve. In 1979 he graduated from the philological faculty of the Kolomna Pedagogical Institute (now the State Social and Humanitarian University ), where he continued (after a year of work in a rural school) to work in the department of literature. In 1982-1985 he studied at graduate school at the A. I. Herzen Leningrad State Pedagogical Institute (supervisor - N. N. Skatov ). In 1987-1993 - Dean of the Faculty of Philology of the KPI. In 1999, at Moscow State University, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “The Evolution of the Literary Work of V. S. Vysotsky ”.
