The residence was originally housed in a two-story building by the sea built in the 1930s. At that time, the residence was not monopolized by the Prime Minister, but was used for events related to the foreign as well as internal policy of the USSR [1] .
On May 16, 2009, a meeting was held between the Prime Minister of Turkey Erdogan and the Prime Minister of Russia Putin [2] .
Until 2012, D. Medvedev never stayed at this residence. In 2012, after Vladimir Putin won the presidential election in the Russian Federation, Prime Minister D. Medvedev made extensive repairs at the residence, Medvedev’s move here was delayed until the fall [1] . The reconstruction of the Riviera-6 was attended by Ziyad Manasir [3] . The repair was completed in August 2013, and Medvedev publicly appeared here on August 8.
Nowadays, “Riviera-6” is surrounded by a large fence, and FSO employees are constantly located on the city beach “Riviera”, which, according to many local residents, makes it difficult to use the municipal beach [4]
