History
The park was laid out on May 18, 1939 . 2,000 Vologda residents took part in the mass Sunday. In 1945 he was named the Peace Park. In the autumn of 1955, trees and shrubs were planted here: 272 spruces, 410 spirea bushes, 426 honeysuckle bushes and 5782 acacia bushes.
