Biography
Born in Moscow on July 2, 1987. After grade 9, she entered the International Law College under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation [1] , graduated with honors and was enrolled in the second year of law. Since 2012, Katarina left a permanent job and took up poetry.
In March 2013, Sultanova published her first book, entitled “Light forms of delirium” [2] . The presentation of the book and the first public appearance took place on May 28, 2013 at the Hugo restaurant.
At one of the creative evenings, Katarina is invited to write for the theater and in April 2014, the Taganka Front [3] premiere of the anniversary performance, dedicated to the legendary director Yuri Lyubimov in which all female soliloquies were written by Katarina, was premiered in the Taganka Theater. The co-authors of the play are the poet and director Vlad Malenko and musician Yuri Shevchuk .
In April 2014, Oksana Fandera sent Katarina a video in which she reads the poem “Bird. With Tenderness,” from this video a series of video portraits “Woman with Thousands of Faces” was created, where famous actresses read Oksana Fandera , Elena Ksenofontova , Irina Grineva’s poems. , Olga Lomonosova and others.
In 2015, her poems staged the poetic performance “Touch” [4] (2015), Timur Bekmambetov selects her poems for the one-of-a-kind poem trailer for the film “ He is the Dragon ” (2015) [5] .
