Geography
The village is located in the upper reaches of the Sula River (the right tributary of the Kazanka River), 31 kilometers north of the Vysokaya Gora railway station.
History
Known from the period of the Kazan Khanate . In pre-revolutionary sources it is mentioned under the name Big Alat Sulabash. In the XVIII - first half of the XIX centuries, residents belonged to the category of state peasants . They were engaged in agriculture, cattle breeding, milling, weaving. At the beginning of the 20th century , a mosque, a meteb , 2 windmills, a grain mill, 6 small shops functioned in the Big Sulabash. During this period, the land allotment of the rural community was 1194.7 acres. Until 1920, the village was part of the Alat volost of the Kazan district of the Kazan province . Since 1920, as part of the Arsk canton of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic . From August 10, 1930 in Dubyaz , from February 1, 1963 in Zelenodolsky , from January 12, 1965 in Vysokogorsky districts [1] .
