Biography
The youngest son of Philippe de Croix , Count de Solré, and Guillaumetta de Coucy.
Viscount de Langl, Senior de Tourcoing.
In 1641 he was appointed commander of the Spanish cavalry, and the following year colonel of the Walloon Guard . Raised to the dignity of the grandee of Spain of the 1st class.
The governor and captain-general of the Duchy of Luxembourg and the county of Chini, the great Balli Tournai and the chief of finance of the Netherlands.
In 1646, he was granted the title of Knight of the Golden Fleece by Philip IV .
