Biography
Orthodox, a peasant in the village of Zhabny, Zhabensky volost, Valdai district .
Received primary education at home. During the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878 he was in the army and was awarded two insignia of the Military Order of the 3rd and 4th degree for courage. Engaged in agriculture (50 acres of his own land). He was a volost foreman .
In 1907 he was elected to the III State Duma from the Novgorod province by a congress of commissioners from volosts. He was a member of the Octobrist faction, from the 3rd session - in the progressive faction. He was a member of the land commission. He signed the bill "On the abolition in Belarus of the remnants of ownership ownership."
The further fate is unknown.
